“ Delicious Annise Cookies! I have been buying from this wonderful Italian Bakery for 2 years now ... they are the best Italian Bakery 8 have found ... old world Italian! I am an Italian American ... Calabrese/Ischiatana ... I approve! ”
“ Great bakery and amazing customer service. They went out of their way to make sure my Christmas order was delivered on time even though it was a pretty last minute order & the rainbow cookie cheesecake was very well received ”
“ Ordered Online. Ordered just cookies this time and they were all excellent especially the rainbow cookies and the fig cookies! Will be ordering more items very soon. Highly recommend. ”
“ A buddy of mine shipped a box of rainbow cookies over to me -- I've never been to NY, let alone had a rainbow cookie. The cookies arrived fresh in a box and were phenomenal.I demolished them within two days - they never stood a chance. ”
“ I decided we were taking the drive over to Circo's. I was never there but I follow them on instagram. I saw a very funny video they did with Mario's meat and deli so I decided it's time. You walk in and for me it immediately brought me back to old time stores. You smell bread baking before you open the door..like heaven's gate opens up... but it's the best smell in the world ok! I bought two cannoli, a slice of cheese cake, a lemon meringue tart, two apple turnovers and my Trump cookie, . Now my husband is the rainbow cookie lover, I am not. I AM NOW! These are so good, not over almondy (is that a word?) cakey, you get the raspberry jam and it's not just a thin little layer. Nice layer of chocolate on top, absolutely delicious! Lord help me I also ate one of the apple turnovers after our next stop. I love the pastry, good filling not too sweet and some how not heavy. I live in an area where there are plenty of Italian pastry stores to choose from. Circo's is definitely worth the drive across Brooklyn and I will definitely be back. This store is clean, sales people are very nice and so is the owner. Circo's is 80 years old, you have to be doing something right to be around that long! Go get a cannolo you'll thank me ”
“ Circo bakery made my daughters cake back in 2013, and we loved it. Leaving a review better late than never. ”
“ Yummy authentic italian pastries! if you ever find yourself in the area (perhaps at maria hernandez or the like) definitely drop by for a sweet treat. i got the nutella twist pastry and pretty much devoured the entire thing in the span of two blocks when i claimed to "not be hungry." ”
“ I was craving good cannoli and wasn't in the mood to drive further into Brooklyn. After reading through reviews, I decided to stop by here. The bakery is pretty easy to find and I got there and actually found a parking spot right by it. It's pretty close to Williamsburg, and right near a lot of restaurants and stores. It's clean inside and they offer the usual pastries and cookies and breads. They also have gelato and sorbet. I honestly was just looking to get some cannoli (unfortunately they don't do mini cannoli by the piece but they said I could get six so I did that). The young woman helping me was very nice and I would definitely stop by again. I tried one of the cannoli on my way home, it was excellent. The shell was perfectly crunchy, and the cream was exactly as it should taste (smooth, buttery and a mild hint of nutmeg). If you're in the area, definitely stop by. ”
“ So I've been looking for a great Italian bakery in this largely taken over by hipsters area of bedstuy/brooklyn. My family has been going here for years but I never realized how close it was to me! Took the bus a few blocks walked through the park and there is was! I tried their famous canolli donut! Delicious! My son got the Cinnabon it looks delicious and he loved it. They also have all different flavors of macaroons! I tried the pistachio and it was great! ”
“ Was in the mood for something sweet. Grabbed a Holi Canoli Donut. It was just ok. Nothing to brag about. Didn't even want to finish it all. Too much dough. I should've instead gotten a canoli. Probably would've been better off. Nice clean place. Server at counter was sweet and helpful. ”
